Work is progressing on the renovations to six independent living apartments. Plans include updating the bathroom to make them more senior friendly including a step in shower with seat. The kitchen will feature all new appliances, flooring and countertops, and new paint and carpet throughout. Delaine Caldwell, our Activities Director, has been awarded the designation “Activities Director Certified” or ADC. She met all the criteria including college classes, internships, continuing education hours and experience in the profession.

A good time was had by all as we celebrated the devotion, memories and stories of 12 wonderful couples residing at the Methodist Home. There were stories and memories shared by these couples and a word of advice from the husband of 74 years, “Stay with it!”
